You can choose to make a Go Vacation character (with the anime artstyle) or you can use your Mii. There is a lot of customizability for the characters in this game, and you can make your character one of a kind. Before you get to play, however, you get to create your character. Go Vacation is a variety video game, so it offers many different types of gameplay. They all the Japanese artstyle many love, and although I am not a big fan of it, many will enjoy the nice touch. The NPCs all look like they were ripped from an anime. Although these graphics aren't good compared to what we have now, for a Wii game, I think they're pretty good! Many of the resorts can look beautiful and for a Wii game, it looks great! Sometimes you'll just want to stare into the sunset rather than playing. Did Go Vacation handle it correctly? I believe that is a yes. Some games handled graphics horribly and some (like Super Mario Galaxy) did it great. The Wii's graphics weren't as good compared to other consoles at the time, but they were still decent. I believe that the story is perfect because if it was extended to make it deeper, it would seemed forced. There is a couple missions during the game that can add a little bit more story, but I don't believe that a deep story is needed for this game. That's it! There's also a little theme song for the game which is a nice touch. The only story is that YOU are going to Kawawii Island, a massive island with 4 resorts to have fun at. It's very simple but a story really isn't needed for this game. In the mountain resort on a cliff, you can find a blue ball. When you first boot up Go Vacation, you'll get what might be the only real story of the game in the form of a cutscene.Putting the ball into the soccer goal gives you a firework display. There is a soccer field in city resort.unlike the game in that resort, you need to take the ball up the stairs and roll it onto the snowman. In the snow resort there is a ball next to a snowman. In each resort there are balls, including villa grounds! Take the right turn and pass a photo guy. Snow Resort- Also in the Resort is a crystal cave.Jump! While jumping, turn the slightest but to the right, and you should be on the path in the lava part of this cave! You will pass by a bungee jumping spot, but after that, be ready to jump*! Jump over each crack, but when you get to a split in the path, go left! Keep jumping over the cracks and you will get to a treasure chest! To get out, follow the path to the other part of the lava cave, jump over the cracks and go through the hole and you should be back at Tiger Fang Slope! Follow that entire path until you get to the area of that part with red stalactites. Turn left immediately and follow that path, which will lead you to the part of the cave with mushrooms. Stop after getting to the crystal part of the cave. Turn into that opening and follow the path so you are now off the map. After riding for a little while, there will be a little opening in the wall/cliff.
